A town built on bungalows
Peacehaven was laid out in the 1920s and 1930s as a seaside plotland development, and it still looks like it. Streets of detached bungalows and chalet-style houses run back from the cliff road, many with big front windows, conservatories and long single-storey layouts. The Greenwich Meridian monument on the cliff top is the best-known landmark, and the sea is never far away.
Single-floor homes clean differently from terraces. There are no stairs to work through, but there is more floor area per room and a lot of glass. We quote on the whole footprint of the property and allow time for the windows and conservatory.
Wind, salt and the cliff edge
Being on the cliff edge means the weather finds every gap. Salt carries inland on the wind and settles on windowsills, patio doors and the frames of conservatories. It dulls glass and leaves a white bloom on chrome. A regular clean at £20 an hour wipes it off before it builds up, and our vinegar-based products cut through it without leaving a residue.
If a home has gone a few months without a proper clean, a deep clean at £30 an hour deals with the frames, tracks, grout and skirting boards in one go.
Telscombe Cliffs and the neighbouring streets
Telscombe Cliffs and Peacehaven run into each other along the coast, with a similar mix of 1930s housing, some newer infill and a good number of retirement bungalows. Anyone who wants a clean they can rely on, from a cleaner they know, is who we built the service for.

Fresh starts: deep cleans and move-outs
Peacehaven has plenty of homes changing hands, whether through a sale, a rental or a family move. For anyone leaving a rental, our end of tenancy clean at £30 an hour is done to the standard of the inventory check. Ovens are £40 for a single and £70 for a double.
Whatever the job, eco-friendly products made from vinegar, lemon and bicarbonate of soda are included in the hourly rate.
